Job Summary

The Front-End Engineer will be responsible for creating user-friendly interfaces and building high-quality front-end features for web applications. The successful candidate will work closely with the design team to create responsive and visually appealing web pages that meet the needs of users.

Requirements

• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, and Storybook

• Creation of responsive designs for all devices

• 4 to 8 years of experience in front-end development

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English

  
  

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement user interfaces using ReactJS

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

• Develop components and design systems using Storybook

• Create responsive designs that work seamlessly across all devices

• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development

• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with back-end systems

• Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development

• Ensure excellent code quality meeting company standards and expectations

• Develop responsive solutions and follow coding best practices

• Be willing to learn new technologies and be accountable for time spent on a project with the supervision of the assigned manager

• Maintain fluid communication with project managers and technical leaders

• Brainstorm with technical leaders to determine the best solution and think out of the box

• Interview candidates when applicable

• Achieve project delivery success and client satisfaction with a close partnership with the Technical Leader and Project Manager

• Contribute to the project technical decisions and call out blockers and risks

• Provide either ballparks or accurate estimates and perform requirement analysis of new projects or enhancements of existing ones

• Ramp up new project members/onboardings and offboarding transitions

• Ensure and keep project documentation up-to-date, provide support and guidance for other technology members, and ensure cross-departmental integration at both a strategic and tactical level

  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of demonstrable experience in web applications development.

• Demonstrable experience in React, JavaScript, and Storybook.

• Experience building full responsive and functional components development.

• Experience integrating with REST APIs and managing the application state.

• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

• Experience working on progressive web apps.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.

• Experience with Git version control workflows.

• Understanding of software design patterns and principles.
